Paparazzo Sues Chris Brown

June 8, 2009

Singer Chris Brown was sued May 28 by a photographer after Brown’s bodyguards beat him as he tried to take photographs at a gym.

Robert Rosen sued 20-year-old Brown and LA Fitness International based on the May 13 assault at a Universal City, CA gym seeking unspecified damages for multiple claims including: negligence; assault and battery; intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Rosen was photographing Brown and his friends while playing basketball at the gym. He claims he was chased by Brown’s bodyguards, fell down a flight of stairs and was assaulted by them. Also, Rosen claims a gym employee stopped him from leaving the gym.

This lawsuit was filed about one month after Brown was arrested for allegedly assaulting Rihanna. The Rihanna assault case hearing was held Thursday.
