Angels and Demons is the number one box office grossing movie of the weekend earning $46,204,168. The DaVinci Code cousin stars Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor.
Number two is Star Trek, which has grossed in total $147,645,384.
Number three is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, four is Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and five is Obsessed.
The number 40 movie, Little Ashes is in its second week. It stars Twilight’s Robert Pattinson as the artist Salvador Dali and documents his life and love affair with Federico Garcia Lorca. It has grossed $151,390 in only 15 theaters.
