“Today”’s Anne Curry interviewed Brad Pitt Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival in France to promote his new incorrectly spelled Bastard movie.
Curry began to ask some “personal” questions, in addition to specific movie questions, and a bit of Pitt’s arrogant side came out.
All Curry said was: “A lot of women watching this right now are really envious of me because I get to stand here and talk to you!”
She asked a couple questions which Pitt would not answer, such as “Would you describe it as one of the happiest times in your life…What’s guiding you now?”
While Curry was trying to get some form of answer, Pitt looked over the balcony acting as if he wanted to jump off to escape any question he deemed inappropriate. Pitt smiled. Then Curry grabbed his face and laughed. Pitt looked like he wanted to kill her.
He finally broke down and said, “It's really rewarding, about discovery and finding new things, new things of interest. The kids are certainly responsible for a lot of that.
On Wednesday, Curry tweeted on her Twitter page, “I can’t believe I grabbed Brad Pitt’s face.”
Probably Brad Pitt couldn’t believe it either.
Surprisingly, at the time of the interview, Pitt had not seen his own movie yet, but of course he was whoring it out. He has never been known for his great intelligence.
