American Express Co. sued the musician, Courtney Love on Wednesday in Los Angeles. They claim she owes over $350,000 in unpaid charges.
The company is suing Love for her unpaid balance, attorney’s fees, damages and late charges totaling $352,059.67 on her Gold card. After Love “failed and refused” to make her payments, American Express suspended her charging privileges.
44-year-old Love must have bad energy around her because she has had a number of lawsuits find her recently. In February, Love was sued for libel by a fashion designer who was upset by comments Love made on Twitter. In 2008, she was sued for $1 million by an advisory firm to obtain its share of the royalties of Love’s $19.5 million sale of Nirvana’s publishing catalog.
