Cher and Sonny Bono’s 40-year-old daughter Chastity Bono is preparing to undergo a sex-change to become a man. Chastity is now using the name Chaz. Bono’s publicist Howard Bragman said recently Bono began the process to undergo sexual-reassignment earlier this year and that Bono is proud of the decision and hopes "that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue."
There is really nothing to say about Bono’s choice that won’t make someone mad. Regardless, no one should be named something like chastity unless they’re fated to become a nun. That name alone would be burdensome.
