President Barack Obama hosted the first ever poetry slam at the White House Tuesday night.
Craig Ferguson poked fun at the event on Wednesday’s “Late Late Show” saying, “Once Dick Cheney held a Torture Slam.”
He said Cheney’s poem would say the following: “There once was a man from Nantucket - I put his head in a bucket.”
James Earl Jones was one guest of the poetry slam. Ferguson though Jones’s poem would have said, “Luke I am your dad – you came from my gonad.”
Now that rhyming is some White House material.
