Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree today from her alma mater Yale University. 36 years ago she earned her law degree from the same college.
Clinton and the other honorary degree recipients were kept secret until the graduation ceremony. Yale awarded 2,868 degrees at the ceremony. Clinton spoke for about five minutes at the Law School’s separate commencement ceremony.
Hillary met Bill at Yale Law.
